The Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Keansburg Titans to 44 in the Garnet Gulls league victory on Tuesday.

The Garnet Gulls now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ocean Township for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Point Pleasant Beach will battle a Spartans team coming off a 56-39 non-league loss to Wall Township (Wall, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 3-4.

The Titans (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lakewood (Lakewood, NJ). The Piners come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Lakewood prevailed over Asbury Park (Asbury Park, NJ), 59-28, in a non-league contest.
