In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC) basketball squad edged the host Summerville Green Wave (Summerville, SC), by a count of 68-63.

The Wildcats (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Chapin (Chapin, SC). The Eagles go into the AAAAA Region 4 outing with a 4-9 record.

The Green Wave now hold a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Dorchester for a AAAAA Region 7 outing on Friday, January 5. Summerville will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 67-63 non-league loss to Woodland (Dorchester, SC). The Patriots record now stands at 9-4.
