The Lopez Lobos basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Porter Cowboys to 44 in the Lobos league victory on Tuesday.
The Lobos now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Donna North for a 5A Region IV District 32 contest on Friday, January 5. Lopez will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 54-36 league loss to Mercedes (Mercedes, TX). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-15.
The Cowboys (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Donna (Donna, TX). The Redskins come into the 5A Region IV District 32 contest with a 7-14 record.
