Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the San Saba Armadillos (San Saba, TX) and the host Mason Punchers (Mason, TX), saw San Saba's basketball squad hold off Mason by a tally of 54-48.
With the victory, San Saba improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Armadillos host Junction (Junction, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 2A Region IV District 29 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Junction lost 44-36 in their recent league challenge against Johnson City (Johnson City, TX)
Next up, the Punchers confront the Center Point Pirates (Center Point, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Mason will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record.
