The Murray Mustangs basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Melcher-Dallas Saints to 27 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Union for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Murray will battle a Eagles team coming off a 62-42 non-league win over Lamoni (Lamoni, IA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-7.

The Saints (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Seymour (Seymour, IA). The Warriors enter the Bluegrass contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Seymour was routed by Mormon Trail (Garden Grove, IA), 62-30, in a league contest.
