The North Zulch Bulldogs (North Zulch, TX) basketball knocked off the host Round Top-Carmine Cubs (Carmine, TX), 50-40 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bulldogs (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Buckholts (Buckholts, TX). The Badgers go into the 1A Region IV District 29 test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Buckholts went down by Richards (Richards, TX), 89-16, in a league test.

The Cubs now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they travel to Dime Box for a 1A Region IV District 29 test on Friday, January 5. Round Top-Carmine will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 67-54 league win over McDade (McDade, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-7.
