Northeast Early College Raiders (Austin, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Travis Rebels (Austin, TX), 53-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Northeast Early College upgrades its record to 3-16 on the season. The Raiders travel to Crockett (Austin, TX) to play the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 24 bout on Friday, January 5. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-18. Crockett lost 61-34 in their recent league bout against McCallum (Austin, TX)

Next up, the Rebels play the LBJ Austin Jaguars (Austin, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 bout, on Friday, January 5. Travis will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record.
