Washington High School Basketball - Pope John Paul II knocked off by Northwest Christian

The Northwest Christian Wolverines basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Pope John Paul II Eagles to 49 in the Wolverines league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolverines now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summit Classical Christian School for a 1B/2B Sea-Tac contest on Thursday, January 4. Northwest Christian will battle a Archers team coming off a 81-34 league win over Puget Sound Adventist (Kirkland, WA). The Archers record now stands at 8-2.
The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sound Christian (Tacoma, WA). The Lions enter the 1B/2B Sea-Tac contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Sound Christian ran past Northwest Yeshiva (Mercer Island, WA), 82-51, in a league contest.
