The Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ) basketball crushed the host Paramus Spartans (Paramus, NJ), 75-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Maroons (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ). The Comets go into the Big North - National test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Hackensack was trounced by Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ), 68-61, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to DePaul Catholic for a non-league test on Thursday, January 4. Paramus will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 68-34 league loss to Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 4-4.
