The Wilson Mustangs (Wilson, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Petersburg Buffaloes (Petersburg, TX), 65-52 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mustangs (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Hermleigh (Hermleigh, TX). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Hermleigh notched a victory over Bronte (Bronte, TX), 49-27, in a non-league test.

The Buffaloes now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crosbyton for a 1A Region I District 6 contest on Friday, January 5.
