North Carolina High School Basketball - Winston-Salem Prep topped by Piedmont Classical

The Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix basketball team (Winston-Salem, NC), dropped 66-49 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC)

The Bobcats now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carver for a 1A Northwest Piedmont battle on Friday, January 5. Piedmont Classical will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 67-59 league win over Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-6.

The Phoenix (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC). The Royals come into the 1A Northwest Piedmont battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, College Prep & Leadership Academy dropped by Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC), 63-32, in a league battle.
