The Raleigh Lions basketball team (Raleigh, MS), was overwhelmed 62-23 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Puckett Wolves (Puckett, MS)
The Wolves now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pisgah for a 2A Region 6 battle on Thursday, January 4. Puckett will battle a Dragons team coming off a 71-29 league loss to St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS). The Dragons record now stands at 7-13.
The Lions (0-12) will now prepare for their battle against Pisgah (Sandhill, MS). The Dragons come into the 2A Region 6 battle with a 7-14 record. In their last battle, Pisgah was overwhelmed by Puckett (Puckett, MS), 71-62, in a league battle.
