The Tuckerman Bulldogs basketball team (Tuckerman, AR), was nudged 63-61 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Walnut Ridge Bobcats (Walnut Ridge, AR)
The Bobcats now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rivercrest for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 4. Walnut Ridge will battle a Colts team coming off a 63-45 non-league loss to Brookland (Brookland, AR). The Colts record now stands at 9-1.
The Bulldogs (12-9) will now prepare for their battle against Newport (Newport, AR). The Greyhounds come into the 3A Region 2 battle with a 2-12 record. In their last battle, Newport edged Salem (Salem, AR), 70-50, in a league battle.
