With the win, Seagoville upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Dragons travel to Spruce (Dallas, TX) to clash with the Timberwolves in a 5A Region II District 12 bout on Friday, January 5. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Samuell Spartans (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 bout, on Friday, January 5. Adams will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
