Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Alpine Bucks (Alpine, TX) and the visiting Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX), saw Alpine's basketball squad knock off Stanton by a count of 43-31.
With the victory, Alpine upgrades its record to 5-14 on the campaign. The Bucks travel to Tornillo (Tornillo, TX) to play the Coyotes in a 3A Region I District 4 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 1-14. Tornillo lost 65-20 in their recent league challenge against Kermit (Kermit, TX)
Next up, the Buffaloes play the Presidio Blue Devils (Presidio, TX) in a 3A Region I District 4 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Stanton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 58-25 league loss to Crane (Crane, TX).
