In Tuesday's league outing, the Morton Indians (Morton, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Amherst Bulldogs (Amherst, TX), by a count of 51-20.

The Indians (10-11) will now prepare for their outing against Meadow (Meadow, TX). The Broncos go into the 1A Region I District 7 outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, Meadow was crushed by Sands (Ackerly, TX), 53-20, in a non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now hold a 1-12 record. They play next when they travel to Cotton Center for a 1A Region I District 7 outing on Friday, January 5. Amherst will clash with a Elks squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Whitharral (Whitharral, TX). The Elks record now stands at 5-13.
