The Ankeny Hawks basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Valley Tigers to 50 in the Hawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hawks now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Ankeny will battle a Tigers team coming off a 57-27 non-league loss to Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.
The Tigers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Johnston (Johnston, IA). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 12-0 record.
