Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Apollo Ridge ripped by Shady Side Academy

The Shady Side Academy Bulldogs basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Apollo Ridge Vikings to 17 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burrell for a WPIAL 3A 3 contest on Thursday, January 4. Shady Side Academy will meet a Bucs team coming off a 72-59 non-league loss to St. Joseph (Natrona Heights, PA). The Bucs record now stands at 5-1.
The Vikings (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA). The Rams enter the WPIAL 3A 3 contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Ligonier Valley triumphed over Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA), 58-43, in a league contest.
