The Hope Bobcats basketball team (Hope, AR), was overwhelmed 73-47 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR)
The Panthers now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nashville for a 4A Region 7 battle on Friday, January 5. Ashdown will confront a Scrappers team coming off a 66-42 league win over Camden Fairview (Camden, AR). The Scrappers record now stands at 9-4.
The Bobcats (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Malvern (Malvern, AR). The Leopards come into the 4A Region 7 battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Malvern was overwhelmed by De Queen (De Queen, AR), 72-39, in a league battle.
