The Banneker Trojans basketball team (College Park, GA), was overwhelmed 66-33 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Mays Raiders (Atlanta, GA)
The Raiders now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-Cities for a AAAAA Region 5 battle on Friday, January 5. Mays will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 80-42 league loss to Creekside (Fairburn, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-5.
The Trojans (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Panthers come into the AAAAA Region 5 battle with a 2-10 record. In their last battle, Chapel Hill was overwhelmed by Jackson (Atlanta, GA), 84-23, in a league battle.
