The Leavenworth PIONEERS basketball team (Leavenworth, KS), was overwhelmed 50-23 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Basehor-Linwood Bobcats (Basehor, KS)
The Bobcats now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Turner for a United Kansas contest on Friday, January 5. Basehor-Linwood will meet a Golden Bears team coming off a 72-14 non-league loss to Piper (Kansas City, KS). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-4.
The PIONEERS (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Seaman (Topeka, KS). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Seaman triumphed over De Soto (De Soto, KS), 49-44, in a non-league contest.
