The Pirates now possess a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Platte County for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5.

The Golden Eagles (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Kearney (Kearney, MO). The Bulldogs come into the Freelance battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Kearney was overwhelmed by Truman (Independence, MO), 59-48, in a non-league battle.
