Arkansas High School Basketball - Blytheville knocked off by Pocahontas

The Pocahontas Redskins basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Blytheville Chickasaws to 35 in the Redskins league triumph on Tuesday.

The Redskins now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forrest City for a 4A Region 3 contest on Friday, January 5. Pocahontas will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 65-37 non-league win over East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-5.

The Chickasaws (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Trumann (Trumann, AR). The Wildcats enter the 4A Region 3 contest with a 0-11 record.
