East Bernard Brahmas (East Bernard, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Boling Bulldogs (Boling, TX), 48-35 in a league bout.

With the win, East Bernard upgrades its record to 12-10 on the season. The Brahmas host Brazos (Wallis, TX) to play the Cougars in a 3A Region III District 24 bout on Friday, January 5. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-19. Brazos lost 41-28 in their recent league bout against Danbury (Danbury, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Van Vleck Leopards (Van Vleck, TX) in a 3A Region III District 24 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Boling will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record.
