Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Carlynton overwhelmed by Fort Cherry

The Fort Cherry Rangers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Carlynton Cougars to 20 in the Rangers league victory on Tuesday.
The Rangers now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brentwood for a WPIAL 2A 2 contest on Thursday, January 4. Fort Cherry will battle a Spartans team coming off a 45-28 league win over Sto-Rox (McKees Rocks, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-5.
The Cougars (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA). The Flames come into the WPIAL 2A 2 contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Northgate was routed by Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA), 57-15, in a league contest.
