Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Casa Roble Rams (Orangevale, CA), 69-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, Rio Linda upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Knights host El Camino (Sacramento, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 9-8. El Camino lost 39-35 in their recent non-league bout against Center (Antelope, CA)

Next up, the Rams play the Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA) in a Golden Empire League bout, on Friday, January 5. Casa Roble will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 47-23 league win over Dixon (Dixon, CA).
