North Dakota High School Basketball - Cavalier topped by Midway/Minto

The Midway/Minto Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Cavalier Tornadoes to 36 in the Mustangs league victory on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. John for a B District 3 contest on Friday, January 5. Midway/Minto will battle a Woodchucks team coming off a 70-51 non-league win over Bishop Ryan (Minot, ND). The Woodchucks record now stands at 8-2.
The Tornadoes (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Drayton/Valley-Edinburg (Drayton, ND). The Titans come into the B District 3 contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Drayton/Valley-Edinburg was defeated by Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg (Mayville, ND), 76-19, in a non-league contest.
