Charleston Tigers (Charleston, MS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Riverside Bulldogs (Avon, MS), 37-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Charleston upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host North Side (Shelby, MS) to play the Gators in a 2A Region 3 bout on Friday, January 5. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 8-7.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Non Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The come into the bout with a 63-114 record after their 66-32 non-league loss to West Seattle (Seattle, WA).
