The Clarke Central Gladiators basketball team (Athens, GA), dropped 35-23 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Loganville Red Devils (Loganville, GA)
The Red Devils now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson for a AAAAA Region 8 battle on Friday, January 5. Loganville will battle a Dragons team coming off a 56-29 league win over Eastside (Covington, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 13-2.
The Gladiators (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Patriots come into the AAAAA Region 8 battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Heritage beat Jackson County (Jefferson, GA), 54-50, in a non-league battle.
