Mississippi High School Basketball - Columbus knocked off by Ridgeland

The Ridgeland Titans basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Columbus Falcons to 36 in the Titans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Titans now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Neshoba Central for a 6A Region 2 bout on Friday, January 5. Ridgeland will play a Rockets squad coming off a 84-18 league win over Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS). The Rockets record now stands at 17-1.

Next up, the Falcons play the Vicksburg Gators (Vicksburg, MS) in a 6A Region 2 bout, on Friday, January 5. Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Gators come into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 61-43 league loss to Callaway (Jackson, MS).
