North Mesquite Stallions (Mesquite, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Conrad Chargers (Dallas, TX), 42-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Mesquite upgrades its record to 7-17 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX) to play the Wranglers in a 5A Region II District 12 bout on Friday, January 5. The Wranglers come into the bout with a record of 4-17.

Next up, the Chargers play the Poteet Pirates (Mesquite, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 bout, on Friday, January 5. Conrad will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record.
