The Elkhorn Elks basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Janesville Craig Cougars to 47 in the Elks non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Elks now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westosha Central for a Southern Lakes contest on Thursday, January 4.
The Cougars (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Verona (Verona, WI). The Wildcats come into the Big Eight challenge with a 11-0 record. In their last challenge, Verona toppled Homestead (Mequon, WI), 68-59, in a non-league challenge.
