The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Menchville won 65-44 in their recent league challenge against Hampton (Hampton, VA)

Next up, the Dukes play the Heritage Hurricanes (Newport News, VA) in a Peninsula challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Gloucester will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 57-14 league loss to Bethel (Hampton, VA).
