The Lake Dallas Falcons (Corinth, TX) basketball nipped the host Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX), 48-43 in Tuesday's league test.

The Falcons (9-14) will now prepare for their test against Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX). The Panthers go into the 5A Region I District 7 test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Colleyville Heritage got by Richland (North Richland Hills, TX), 46-36, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 12-11 record. They play next when they host Denton for a 5A Region I District 7 test on Thursday, January 4. Grapevine will encounter a Broncos squad coming off a 47-33 league loss to Ryan (Denton, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 9-12.
