With the victory, Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union upgrades its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Royals travel to South O'Brien (Paullina, IA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 2-7. South O'Brien won 33-24 in their recent league bout against Harris-Lake Park (Lake Park, IA)

Next up, the Wolves play the George-Little Rock Mustangs (George, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Harris-Lake Park will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 8-0 record after their 61-24 league win over Sheldon (Sheldon, IA).
