Inola Longhorns (Inola, OK) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Verdigris Cardinals (Claremore, OK), 41-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Inola upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Salina (Salina, OK) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Vinita Hornets (Vinita, OK) in a Verdigris Valley bout, on Friday, January 12. Verdigris will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record.
