With the victory, Jay upgrades its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Grove (Grove, OK) to play the Ridgerunners in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Ridgerunners come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Grove won 63-27 in their recent non-league bout against Jay (Jay, OK)

Next up, the Comets play the Nowata Ironmen (Nowata, OK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Kansas will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Ironmen come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 52-44 non-league win over Caney Valley (Caney, KS).
