Oregon High School Basketball - Vale can't hold off La Grande

The La Grande Tigers basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Vale Vikings to 42 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crook County for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. La Grande will battle a Cowboys team coming off a 49-34 non-league win over Bartlett (Anchorage, AK). The Cowboys record now stands at 7-3.
The Vikings (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against McLoughlin (Milton-Freewater, OR). The Pioneers enter the 3A Eastern Oregon contest with a 1-4 record.
