Virginia High School Basketball - Lake Braddock edges West Springfield

The Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA) basketball nipped the visiting West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), 37-36 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bruins (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Woodson (Fairfax, VA). The Cavaliers go into the District 4 test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Woodson was tipped by West Potomac (Alexandria, VA), 58-50, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host South County for a District 4 test on Friday, January 5. West Springfield will encounter a Stallions squad coming off a 45-24 league win over Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 7-2.
