Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Midland Eagles (Wyoming, IA) and the host Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA), saw Midland's basketball squad overcome Lisbon by a tally of 50-38.

With the victory, Midland improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Starmont (Arlington, IA) to confront the Stars in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Stars come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Starmont lost 86-21 in their recent league challenge against North Linn (Troy Mills, IA)

Next up, the Lions confront the Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Lisbon will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Regals come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 60-35 non-league win over Notre Dame (Burlington, IA).
