The Lumberton Raiders basketball team scored 54 points and held the host West Orange-Stark Mustangs to 45 in the Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silsbee for a 4A Region III District 19 contest on Friday, January 5. Lumberton will battle a Tigers team coming off a 77-38 league win over Vidor (Vidor, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 17-3.

The Mustangs (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Jasper (Jasper, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 4A Region III District 19 contest with a 1-19 record. In their last contest, Jasper was defeated by East Chambers (Winnie, TX), 53-22, in a non-league contest.
