Georgia High School Basketball - Manchester holds off Taylor County

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Manchester Blue Devils (Manchester, GA) and the visiting Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA), saw Manchester's basketball squad hold off Taylor County by a tally of 53-48.

With the victory, Manchester improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Greenville (Greenville, GA) to confront the Patriots in a A D2 Region 6 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Greenville lost 51-46 in their recent league challenge against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Schley County Wildcats (Ellaville, GA) in a A D2 Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Taylor County will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 42-36 league loss to Macon County (Montezuma, GA).
