The Mark Keppel Aztecs basketball team scored 83 points and held the host San Gabriel Matadors to 12 in the Aztecs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Aztecs now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alhambra for a Almont contest on Friday, January 5. Mark Keppel will meet a Moors team coming off a 59-47 league loss to Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA). The Moors record now stands at 4-6.

The Matadors (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Schurr (Montebello, CA). The Spartans enter the Almont contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Schurr triumphed over Montebello (Montebello, CA), 42-20, in a league contest.
