Texas High School Basketball - Royse City edges Mesquite

The Royse City Bulldogs (Royse City, TX) basketball nipped the host Mesquite Skeeters (Mesquite, TX), 61-55 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bulldogs (22-3) will now prepare for their test against Tyler Legacy (Tyler, TX). The Raiders go into the 6A Region II District 10 test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Tyler Legacy was tipped by Horn (Mesquite, TX), 43-31, in a league test.

The Skeeters now own a 23-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Forney for a 6A Region II District 10 test on Friday, January 5. Mesquite will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 46-33 league loss to Rockwall (Rockwall, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 10-13.
