Watson Chapel Wildcats (Pine Bluff, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mills University Studies Comets (Little Rock, AR), 55-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Watson Chapel upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Crossett (Crossett, AR) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region 8 bout on Friday, January 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Crossett lost 67-22 in their recent league bout against Hamburg (Hamburg, AR)

Next up, the Comets play the Hamburg Lions (Hamburg, AR) in a 4A Region 8 bout, on Friday, January 5. Mills University Studies will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 67-22 league win over Crossett (Crossett, AR).
