Platteville Hillmen (Platteville, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Monroe Cheesemakers (Monroe, WI), 71-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Platteville upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Hillmen travel to River Valley (Spring Green, WI) to clash with the Blackhawks in a Southwest Wisconsin bout on Thursday, January 4. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 1-8. River Valley lost 61-50 in their recent non-league bout against Boscobel (Boscobel, WI)

Next up, the Cheesemakers clash with the Evansville Blue Devils (Evansville, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 64-56 non-league loss to Black Hawk (South Wayne, WI).
