The North Allegheny Tigers basketball team (Wexford, PA), was nudged 47-42 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA)
The Knights now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Butler for a WPIAL 6A 1 battle on Thursday, January 4. Norwin will confront a Golden Tornado team coming off a 51-44 league loss to Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA). The Golden Tornado record now stands at 2-7.
The Tigers (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA). The Rams come into the WPIAL 6A 1 battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Pine-Richland edged Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA), 59-23, in a league battle.
