Scottsboro Wildcats (Scottsboro, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Jackson Chiefs (Stevenson, AL), 86-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Scottsboro upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Fort Payne won 47-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Darlington (Rome, GA)

Next up, the Chiefs confront the New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL) in a 4A Area 14 challenge, on Friday, January 5. North Jackson will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 54-48 non-league win over Douglas (Douglas, AL).
