The Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Tattnall County Warriors (Reidsville, GA), 42-38 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bears (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA). The Knights go into the AA Region 3 test with a 4-7 record.
The Warriors now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Brantley County for a AA Region 3 test on Friday, January 5. Tattnall County will encounter a Herons squad coming off a 42-38 league loss to Vidalia (Vidalia, GA). The Herons record now stands at 6-7.
