The Lions (20-6) will now prepare for their test against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Wildcats go into the 3A Region II District 10 test with a 2-13 record. In their last test, Callisburg was trounced by Paradise (Paradise, TX), 65-15, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Whitesboro for a 3A Region II District 10 test on Friday, January 5. Valley View will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 62-16 league win over Boyd (Boyd, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 6-14.
